Our Group

 

Our Group provides a warm, friendly environment where people and families affected by dementia as well as health, social care professionals or others can come together to share experiences, receive support, guidance and information in a relaxed atmosphere.

 

Activities include but are not limited to: reminiscence sessions, games, crafts, and music, all enjoyed over light refreshments.

 

The Carers session is provided so Carers can meet to support each other and share experiences and through peer support enable coping strategies. 

 

All our Organisers and volunteers undergo essential and appropriate training in Safeguarding and Dementia Awareness.

 

Our Group runs every Friday from 10am until 1pm at Cloverfield Community Church Thetford

 

The Group has an open access policy and no statutory referral is necessary, just come along and enjoy!
